Something Blue
This series is an ode to my hometown, Jodhpur.
Jodhpur is often known as the ‘Blue City’ and rightfully so when you see the streets of the old part of the city decorated with beautiful blue houses. It’s a common myth that these streets or the whole area or town is in fact covered in blue paint, it is quite the opposite rather. While not enough to live up to our preset expectations, these blue houses are indeed scattered all over the old part of the city in enough numbers to make any viewers day colourful. Most of these enjoy a scenic view of the historic ‘Mehrangarh Fort’ since they are situated right below it. It is indeed any photographer, or traveller’s paradise to come and witness the beauty of these streets via their own eyes.
